My mission as a jeweler is to create simple, clean, distinct jewelry that is comfortable, eclectic and timeless.  My mixed-media jewelry is an interesting fusion of ceramics, precious metals and gemstones. They are contemporary works of wearable art.  Industrial and organic.  Modern and old world.  Flexibility, creativity and experimentation drive me to move forward with my artwork.

A signature element of my work is the hand-made tiles I create.  I mostly work in sterling silver and 22kyg.  I love to work with bold shapes and colorful cabochon gemstones.  All of my jewelry is hand-fabricated.  As a result, each piece is individual and original.

I was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN.  I graduated from Purdue University in 1993.  I moved to Portland, OR in 1995 and found clay and metal.  In 1998 I began making jewelry the old-fashioned way, through an apprenticeship with a 2nd generation jeweler, Tita Heaton.  I have been inspired ever since...
